Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala underwent an MRI earlier today for a lower leg injury he suffered in the ballclub’s 110-99 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in game 3 of the Western Conference Final.
Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports that the MRI came back negative.
ESPN’s Nick Friedell adds that Iguodala’s status for Game 4 is uncertain.
Iguodala left in the third quarter of game three and was held out of the remainder of the game for “precautionary reasons”, according to Warriors head coach Steve Kerr.
“We didn’t want to risk anything and put him back in the game.”
In is 18 minutes of Game 3 action, Iguodala had two points and five rebounds.
